New painting! This is part of my ‘black and white’ animals series currently on show at Aylesbury Library. The background suggests the darkness of a long winter and the fur has echoes of warm ochres and cooler blues to remind us that not even this animal is really just black and white. It makes me feel cosy as the winter starts to draw in!
