New painting

New painting! Part of my new collection currently on show at Leighton Buzzard Library and really fitting with the weather this week 😀 

This tree is exuberant in the returning springtime. It is blossoming, just as it has many times in the past, and the light is growing stronger as the summer approaches once again.

This painting is based on the trees at Sandhouse Lane, where I see very few other people. By including other trees in the background, and choosing a joyful colour palette, I suggest that they are almost dancing in celebration of the changing season, while nobody can see them.
