Fab visit to the new Courtauld exhibition this week - for me the stars of the show were Goya’s salmon and Cezanne’s palette knife portrait. The still life oozed meaning and emotion and somehow reminded me of both Dali and pop art too. It was fab to get up close with such a sympathetic portrait by Gericault too. And of course the Monet, Sisley and Van Goghs were amazing. What a fantastic collection - absolutely recommend!
